Parade founder Ginger Wilkinson passed away in 2012 prior to the parade, so we lead the parade with GINGER in glitter as a tribute to her years of dedication to the community. She was known around town as “The Parade Lady” because she loved to create fun and creative events to pull people to town and help businesses. This was one of her favorite events of the year.
